We saw how the marches against the Iraq war didn't do anything and can see that it's only the threat of violence that seems to motivate UK governments to change anything. And since we're (still, for some reason) law-abiding citizens, that leaves us somewhat stranded.

Until they make voting other than Labour illegal, then we'll all be criminals by default.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6153021073295963928.post-80494954544033637512007-02-27T01:16:00.000+00:002007-02-27T01:16:00.000+00:00Indeed. Mass right-wing protests such as the Countryside Alliance march tend to be a rarity, whereas a glance at the Stop the War Coalition's website reveals weekly or monthly protests all over the UK.

I'm not sure why this is. Possibly something to do with the left being more collectivist.Fulham Reactionaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15966316580829187182noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6153021073295963928.post-36096883954527945472007-02-26T16:39:00.000+00:002007-02-26T16:39:00.000+00:00Given the recent fetish for protesting on the stre...Given the recent fetish for protesting on the streets about anything and everything, I'm amazed no-one's planning one against this disgusting action.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
