We've been feeding our children this belief system for the past 40 years, it's completely embedded in our educational system and political processes. It feeds a multi-billion dollar NGO indusrty and accounts for innumerable government jobs. We've accepted it as the normal enlightened way to conduct our interactions with different peoples. Nevermind that it doesn't work in the real world.

The reeducation process is going to be nearly impossible in the short term. To truly bring about a different set of thought ( and emotions) on this issue will require a concerted effort by government to implement societal change. I see that as highly unlikely, giving up power and money isn't going to be easy for those old communists. Plus they would have to admit they were wrong. Power Mongers don't do that very well in my opinion, unless they see personal tangible benefits.

In the US we have about half the country rejecting the muti-culti dogma, the other half stubbornly retains this failed ideology as bedrock truth and scream racism every time we, the other half, suggest it isn't working. We are going to have to undermine the entire belief system that Multiculturalism is based on. I don't feel very optimistic about our chances of accomplishing that at the moment. The best I'm hoping for is to retain our 50% that haven't bought into this garbage and pray that they can educate their children to categoricaly reject cultural marxism.

(Sorry for the long rant - this subject is one of my pet peeves)Daphnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03169872264245499170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6153021073295963928.post-48404374905344768712007-09-25T23:12:00.000+01:002007-09-25T23:12:00.000+01:00I've come to loathe the likes of Trevor Philips an...I've come to loathe the likes of Trevor Philips and his fellow multiculturists. The question I always ask myself is how best can this sort of thing be resisted. One way is information. Blogs are an excellent way of getting otherwise little known facts out to a wider audience. I'd love to a see a group blog covering issues relevant to the native English. FR, I think you'd be an excellent contributor to such a site along with the likes of Laban Tall and DSD. If only someone would set one up.Harry Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08299538663895557942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6153021073295963928.post-56010746634549133962007-09-24T10:55:00.000+01:002007-09-24T10:55:00.000+01:00I tend to agree with your assessment of Philips. Only certain critics are deemed to be safe.

However, I think his attempt to reverse course is likely to fail. Too many people have gone through university in the past twenty or so years and cannot think outside the multi-cultural box. Particularly the white intellectual class that populates schools and state officers like social workers. Regardless of what Philips wants, then will continue to operate on auto-pilot.

Multi-culturalism is far from dead.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
