Paedophile has sentenced increased

Back in August I wrote about Michael Porter, the man who, after pleading guilty to twenty-five counts of indecent assault and gross indecency, was sentenced to just three years of community rehabilitation.

Well, I am now pleased to be able to report that, after the case was referred to the Court of Appeal by the Attorney-General, the sentence was increased to an eighteen-month prison term. Still not very much for a man who committed crimes against numerous victims, one only eighteen months old, over a period of fourteen years, but at least it's a slight improvement.

My heart bleeds...

Chris Langham has been tormented and bullied since being jailed for ten months for child-porn offences, his wife has said.

The 58-year-old actor has been pelted with missiles, taunted and had his cell flooded by other prisoners while being ignored by guards, according to Christine Cartwright.

She has stayed loyal to the Bafta-winning star despite his conviction for downloading internet material including vile footage of an eight-year- old being abused by her father.

Miss Cartwright, 54, wept with emotion as she spoke in detail for the first time about her husband's conviction, saying she was keen for their two young children to visit him.

"He's been verbally abused, taunted continuously, had missiles thrown at him and his cell flooded out by other prisoners," she said.

"He is trying to be a model prisoner. He says 'Good morning' to the prison officers, but they just tell him to shut up."

The choreographer and actress claimed Langham was guilty only of "stupidity, arrogance and ghoulish curiosity".

Yes, and also fifteen charges of downloading child pornography. One might have rather more sympathy for Langham's plight, were it not for this last point. As it is, I have absolutely none, and I doubt that anyone else has any either.

It's also interesting to note that even criminals have a grasp of morals sufficient to enable them to identify Langham as scum. When I wrote about the attack by a group of prisoners on the terrorist Dhiren Barot, Mr Smith pointed me in the direction of an interesting article on the subject by Theodore Dalrymple, which is worth reading. Now, if only the average liberal had the same grasp of morality and justice as the average criminal, then we might be in business!

Save a life - shoot a social worker, part two

Remember Fran Lyon? She's the woman I wrote about a few weeks ago, whose child, as yet unborn, is likely to be taken from her mother at the very moment of birth, on the grounds that a doctor who has never met Ms Lyon believes that she may, in the future, suffer from a non-existent psychiatric condition dreamed up by a discredited quack. Those who have read my post about that, or any of the many posts written on the subject at other blogs, will know that the wonderful and saintly people behind that decision were the dedicated men and women of the social services department - those valiant people, who put the 'nanny' in 'nanny state'.

Well, now I discover where Ms Lyon went wrong: she wasn't a lesbian. Had she been a lesbian then, as we learn today, social workers would have considered it "homophobic" to take her daughter, even if there was a genuine risk of abuse occurring. That, at least, is the impression that I get from reading about the case of Ian Wathey and Craig Faunch.

Wathey and Faunch were one of the first homosexual couples in Britain to be approved as foster parents. Over a period of fifteen months, eighteen children, many of them emotionally disturbed, were placed with them, of whom they sexually abused four. When the mother of one child complained, social workers ignored the complaint, and even started sending more seriously disturbed children to live with them. Of the conduct of social workers involved, a report published yesterday by Wakefield Council said:

One manager described the couple as 'trophy carers' which led to 'slack arrangements' over placement. Another said that by virtue of their sexuality they had a 'badge' which made things less questionable. The sexual orientation of the men was a significant cause of people not 'thinking the unthinkable'. It was clear that a number of staff were afraid of being thought homophobic. The fear of being discriminatory led them to fail to discriminate between the appropriate and the abusive.

As a result of this fear, concerns raised about the behaviour of Wathey and Faunch were "inadequately investigated, understood or acted upon".

Hmm, liberals refusing to confront, or even accept the existence of, paedophilic actions, for fear of appearing to be prejudiced against a designated victim group. Never heard of that happening before!

Readers will be aware that this is by no means the first case in which social workers have failed, and failed in the most abject manner, to prevent genuine abuse from taking place. The tragic Climbie case would be the most notorious recent example of this. Thankfully, Wathey and Faunch didn't actually kill any children, although they must nonetheless have inflicted great damage on those they abused. And I expect that it is only a matter of time before we see another child killed, after social workers fail to intervene.

And yet, social workers are now taking an unprecedented number of children into care. It has even been alleged that some children are being taken into care solely in order to meet government targets. If the Lyon case is anything to go by, then there are some pretty spurious excuses being used to justify taking children away from their natural parents.

Social workers today have a huge amount of power. The ability to separate parent from child is the greatest of the powers they possess. As possessors of this power, it is incumbent upon them to exercise the greatest care, both when taking children from their natural parents, and when placing children with foster parents. At the moment, it seems that they are all too often falling far short of even the most basic degree of competence, in both instances.

Judicial travesty of the day

Now, one might think that in such a situation, it would be taken as read that this serial pervert would get a prison sentence. However, the judge, after hearing that he is now "a changed man" (as all criminals are, when sentencing time comes around), sentenced him to...three years of "community rehabilitation".

Another great triumph for British "justice"!

Update: This is in fact the third example of such lax sentencing to be reported this week. On Tuesday we had the case of Colin Read, the management consultant who branded his wife with a steam iron and slashed her with a knife because she forgot to make his sandwiches, and who got off with a £2,000 fine. Thanks to the Mild Colonial Boy, Esq. for reminding me of that one. And then on Wednesday we had the anaesthetist Stuart Brown, who was ordered to pay £500 compensation and serve a two-year community sentence after throwing his wife to the floor and punching her at least 24 times in a row over the purchase of a car. Prison, of course, is reserved for such really serious offenders as septuagenarians who fail to pay their council tax.

BNP "lies" exposed...as truth!

A hidden world in which Asian [MSM code for 'Muslim' - FR] men “groom” young white girls for sex has been exposed with the jailing yesterday of two men for child-abuse offences.

Zulfqar Hussain, 46, and Qaiser Naveed, 32, from east Lancashire, were each jailed for five years and eight months after exploiting two girls aged under 16 by plying them with alcohol and drugs before having sex with them.

Both men pleaded guilty at Preston Crown Court to abduction, sexual activity with a child and the supply of a controlled drug.

Despite being told explicitly by police and social services that both girls were under-age and should be returned to care, the men picked up one girl from a children’s home in Blackburn and then drove on to collect her friend who was living in temporary foster care in North Wales.

Naveed, from Burnley, gave one girl the first of five Ecstasy tablets at a motorway service station before having sex with her on the back seat of the car while the group drove back to Lancashire. The court was told that the two men later took the girls to an address in Blackburn where Hussain, from Blackburn, had sex with the second girl and gave her a total of ten Ecstasy tablets.

The trial came amid growing concern at the attitudes of some Asian men towards white girls which campaigners for women claim few people wish to address.

Parents have complained that in parts of the country with large Asian communities white girls as young as 12 are being targeted for sex by older Asian men yet the authorities are unwilling to act because of fears of being labelled racist.

Ann Cryer, a Labour member of the Commons Home Affairs Select Committee, has been at the forefront of attempting to tackle the problem after receiving complaints from mothers in her constituency about young Asian men targeting their under-age daughters.

Although campaigners claim that hundreds of young girls are already being passed around men within the Asian community for sex, she said that attempts to raise the problem with community leaders had met with little success, with most of them being in a state of denial about it.

However, Ms Cryer added: “I think there is a problem with the view Asian men generally have about white women. Their view about white women is generally fairly low. They do not seem to understand that there are white girls as moral and as good as Asian girls.”

Wow. It's almost as though their society was institutionally racist!

Incidentally, I seem to recall that the BNP has been going on and on about this issue for years, and have been repeatedly accused of spreading "racist myths" by groups such as the confused far-leftists of Unite Against Fascism. Now, however, it seems that the wicked Nazis may have been on to something after all. How unexpected...

Nonces Czech-Mated

I have long believed that castration is an appropriate method of dealing with at least some sex offenders (by which I mean, the ones that we don't actually execute). So I was pleased to read that in the Czech Republic sex offenders are often sentenced to both chemical and surgical (i.e. real, physical) castration. It is wonderful to know that at least some European nations continue to apply proper punishment to paedophiles, rapists, and other related scum.
If only we had something similar here. Sadly, however, the sentences that some of our judges give out give me the impression that they've actually had the operation themselves.

Of course, the liberals are none too happy to see their beloved criminal perverts suffering. The Council of Europe's Committee for the Prevention of Torture has raised the objection that some of those who were physically castrated did not give full and free consent, because they were told that if they did not so consent, they would face indefinite detention in a psychiatric institution.

Now, in my opinion, the Czechs are being rather soft in allowing these perverts (who, incidentally, need to have actually killed someone before they can be physically castrated) a choice. Rather, I believe that the only choice should be for the judge, and that should be, do you execute, or do you just physically castrate him? When you commit offences, you lose the right to object or consent to what is done to you in condign punishment for those offences.
But, notwithstanding my view that the Czechs are being a bit soft, I still envy them their way of dealing with these scum, and for the people at the Committee for the Prevention of Torture to kick up a fuss about this is disgusting. If they are really serious about stopping torture, perhaps they should take a look at saving more innocent people from sex offenders, rather than looking after the rights of these perverts. Really, words are inadequate to express my contempt for anyone who wastes their time or that of others complaining about anything that is done to a rapist or child abuser. Such vermin are just not worthy of our concern.

Update: On a related note, The Telegraph has a story about Jonathan King, one child abuser who definitely merits the application of the Czech method. Apparently, in his latest display of utter moral bankruptcy, King has released a music video on Youtube, praising Harold Shipman. At the time of writing, it's still up there, but I think I shall pass on linking to it myself.

Torygraph excuses child abuse

Commenting on the conviction of Robert King, one of Britain's leading orchestra conductors, on 14 counts of sexually assaulting underage boys, the Daily Telegraph's Igor Toronyi-Lalic (who, incidentally, was once ignominiously disqualified from the elections to the presidency of the Oxford Union) had this to say:

Now, I know this may sound immoral – and despicable and depraved – and odious, but I really do wish justice had not been done – not least because I was about to book tickets for his New Year's Eve concert, dammit.

Above all, however, he provided me with some of the most intense musical experiences I've ever had and, for me – though obviously not the courts – these and his golden recordings have put him beyond reproach.

Well, there you go. He may be a predatory pederast who abuses a position of authority to ruin the lives of his victims, but he makes me me me happy, and that's all that matters.

Sex Slavery and Paedophilia: another day in the Muslim World

A local husband and his wife have been arrested by the Palestinian Authority police on charges of selling their two daughters to young men.

The two girls, aged 12 and 13, were sold for 2,700 Jordanian dinars [approximately NIS 15,000] and NIS 7,000, said Col. Issa Hijo, commander of the Ramallah District Police Force.

He said the two men who bought the girls were brothers aged 23 and 25 and that they had been arrested on charges of raping minors.

"What is astonishing about this case is the fact that the two girls were sold with the approval of their mother and the parents of the two men," Hijo said. "This incident takes us back to the period of slavery. What is even more shocking is the fact that the two men's mother argued that this was an accepted custom."

Had the officer been better informed, he would have known that this is not an isolated event, and that Islamic parents commonly treat their daughters as items of property. There was the man in Pakistan who gave away his daughter in payment for a £75 gambling debt, for example. Or the two Saudis in their seventies (one of whom already had three wives) who married their teenage daughters off to one another (the daughters were not, of course, consulted). And it's spread to Britain as well: in 2004 the British High Commission in Islamabad dealt with 100 cases of forced marriage of British-born Muslim girls.

Yet another example of why we mustn't let Islam take root in Britain.
