There's another protest at the Iranian Embassy on Wednesday. Apparently, the previous protest, on Sunday, went reasonably well, and even got a brief mention on the BBC news website (the tenth picture), and the organisers are hoping to have regular protests until the sailors are released. They have a blog, Free the Navy 15!, and can be contacted by e-mail at freethenavy15@gmail.com.
Basically, my feelings on this are unchanged. I support anyone who is trying to do something about this, and wish them the best of luck in their endeavours, but don't really think that it'll come to very much. I suppose if you got a few thousand angry people out there that would show the Mullahs that the British people are not quite as craven as our government, but anything short of that will have little impact.
What we really need is for our government to stand up for the country, instead of cowering in its present, contemptible, manner.
